athiest is the way to go, but an athiest in America, you've got to be kidding me? I'm Canadian so I guess it isn't any better, but if there is anything wrong with this world it is religion......before I get bashed, let me explain. Yes (some) religions teach us to love one another (if you aren't gay or haven't had an abortion) and other religions teach us to kill, but the thing that divides us the most IS religion. If everyone was an athiest we would only have to worry about racism, greedy, the environment, etc.....
As for the origianl post about the Koran, it's fuked. I didn't think any religion condoned killing nowadays. Remeber, this is a forum where people express there opions and I don't mean to upset anyone here. These are my views only and I'm not hating on religion, I just think it would be a better world without it.

i have a lot of questions, but i don't denounce god, hell what do you got to lose? if he doesn't exist and there's no such thing as heaven or hell, than no big deal, when you're dead, you're dead, it's not like you wasted your life believing in god. but if it is real, and you're fucked and have a nice eternity in hell

That's the conclusion I've come to as well. I can't say either way if god is real or not, so I just try to be the best sweatchuck that I can.

I think all religion should be taken in by all people. I dont think one is right or the other is wrong. Its really comes down to what you believe or what works for you. Just as long as you have some kind of faith that should be fine. Basically its all comes down to the same thing. I have my own faith and believe there is a higher being. I know what not to do and what to do in certian circumstances. Thats good enough for me

True true. I ran across a post the other day from like, January that imadouche made called "I'm going to hell", and DavCivic said somethin to the point of "If I'm wrong I'm wrong, but if I'm right you're screwed".

I believe in God and Satan, in Heaven and Hell, in Angels and Demons. The Koran is really screwed up.. The Author of the Koran (I think it was Muhammad? I can't remember) would get sick over the crap going on in his country so he went to caves constantly and meditated for hours upon end, and believed that Michael the Archangel came to him and told him that God had chosen him to be God's prophet unto man.

One last point I want to make.. Koran, Bible.. One tells you to kill people if they don't agree with you, the other tells you to love your neighbor, share the "good news" and if they don't accept it, then basically they have no right in Heaven to say "I didn't know".
