I know it's hard to make out, but it says "Unable to repair this file". >:( I just got seriously about 20 of these emails with attachments. I opened this one because the sender was Stealthmodeperformance@yahoo.com and I thought it was from Stealthmode from here. Mother fucker. I just went through soooooo much ---- redoing my computer and now this happens. ----!!!!!!!!

ouch. dont hate the viruses, hate windows for making it possable for a mac truck to drive through most of its security holes. crappy software, crappy viruses.

hey don't freak out. if its just IN the email. and you haven't open'd it. then you don't have the virus on your comop. just don't open any of those emails.

Wtf? I don't understand all these virus things. I just try to open email I think should be there. Lately like every 5 mins I have a popup that looks like a windows popup about byebyepopups.com or some ---- like that. I just exit the window cause I'm even afraid of that. My girlfriend discovered alot of email in her sent box that she never wrote and doesn't know any of the people they were sent to. I hate having to deal with stuff I don't understand. I cant understand why you would get an email that looks like its from me. Should I be concerned with something wrong with my computer or what? My email never seems to have much junk mail being sent to me, and I just delete it. The only abnormal thing I can think about is that popup eliminator message, but I'm not sure. ???

kazaa makes a lot of popups on your computer. seriously kazaa is the biggest ------er of tojans and other virus i've ever seen. if you want kazaa.. get kazaa lite

steathmode if ur running windows xp i can help u get rid of those windows looking popups just hit me up in the im or email if u r running xp

i know its a pain in the ass but using an online email site rather than outlook will save u alot of virus headache. when i worked for kodak i got an email from corporate saying to delete a file that was a virus. end up being a system file but tech guys that set up our pc's had locked out the ability to delete core files. one of the virus things sent a step by step instructions to delete file, if i could have deleted i woulda fucked up the computers...lol

Ok, this is pissing me off. I got an email from MY ISp and it said my email address was about to expire. It said to click on the attachment to find out more. I clicked and the same virus warning came up. Mother fuckers. This is bullshit. I also got an email from mike_fx_u@email.com with the same virus which sounds like an email address from soemone on here. I remember seeing it somewhere. This would be the second email from someone on here that contained a virus. I know Stealthmode didn't send me the virus, but how the ---- did 'his address end up on here? I" getting pissed off here. I can't stand this ----. I hate these ------- people who have nothing better to do than ---- my computer up. I hope carma catches up with these bitches. >:(

CALM DOWN GUYS!

The virus you guys are talking about is the virus SoBig.

What it does, it usually comes in a message that says "See your details" or something to that affect. It sends emails to everyone on your address book, and the "FROM" person can also be ANYONE in your address book. For example, someone that has both Stealthmode and Dr. Boost in their address book that has the virus could have had the virus send a mail to Dr. Boost FROM Stealthmode, when Stealthmode really has nothign to do with it.

Don't get mad at people on the forums. This is a HMT forum, I really doubt anyone on here is out to send viruses and stuff like that.

Dr. Boost, get Symantic Norton Anti-virus.. comes with a year of free updates, those viruses can eat my ass with the protection i have now.

why the hell u opening attachments anyways, unless someone says "hey iam sending u a picture or program" dont open a ------- attachment. i hope u learned ur lesson by now realize offical emails will not have an attachment. they would refer u to a website address instead.

man this virus is eexpanding like crazy. Just yesterday my girlfreind opens up her email and there are a ton of emails on her ----. She never has emails. All of the emails were from MAILERDAMON or some ---- like that but they were fake. Just dont open attachments unless you are expecting one.

I haven't ever had a virus and download random ---- all the time from lots of different places. I guess my computer has a strong immune system.

I have no address book and I wasn't blaming HMT members for sending me viruses. I also have Norton and the scan turned up nothing. I used Stinger and SpyBot search and destroy also and nothing. The only reason I oped the attachments was because one was from my ISP and the others looked like they were from HMT members and since I have received about 2 million PM's in the last week I thought nothing of it.

:D ahahaha! That would explain why "Darkrealm Customs" isn't getting back to anyone through email. I sent him a ton of emails trying to get in touch with him about the parts I never received, and right after that I got the virus.
haha, I probably shut his computer down. Ah well, it wasn't done intentionally. :-\

i have gotten that at work, i don't get the attachments since outlook strips them, but somehow a lot of people got infected and it got sent to my work address and now (without opening any of them) my email is sending these same messages/viruses out... yaaaa! ???

this virus collects email address from html files too.. meaning any forum topic that has your name as a link, like a Email link beside the PM below your sig... ya.. it can get email from there.
