God damn I have not seen this much snow in 15 years or better. I shoveled about a foot out of my driveway last night and when I woke up this morning, I could not open my back storm door because of the snow build up and the front door was pretty hard to open also. There was snow piled up in front of the hatch level with the hood and in generel, the entire driveway had about 12-14 inches (it was almost to my knees). So, this guy with a plow just do happened to come down the road as I was attempting to shovel, I got him to plow my driveway up to the cars and I shoveled the rest. Well, I went to leave for work and I got out of the driveway and got stuck I got backed up, and had another go at it, got stuck again. Finally I got the car back into the driveway and said ---- it for now. I can't leave until they plow the side streets. It's amazing how you loved snow when your were a kid and it is such a major pain in the *** when your older. I HATE THIS ----!!! Oh yea, I am in Ohio by the way.

---- work man. Why the hell would you put yourself through all that work just to get to work? It's not worth it. We are so focused on our jobs..............but there is so much more to life. Take the day off and play in the snow with your kids, watch a movie with your significant other, or just go back to bed. They can't fire you for not being able to leave your damn driveway!!

im in ohio and yes it does suck. There was an 80 car pile up on rt 80 outside mercer pa. and another big pile up on the 80 turn pike in cleveland. people become idiots when it snows.

Yea, that used to be my philosophy, ---- it, but I have my own business now. Fortunately, the people who were scheduled to get remote starts today called and said "we can't get out of our driveway, we will have to reschedule" lol. My partner lives in the house right next door to the business, so he is there but we are basically closed today. My wife just asked if we could try and get out again, she wants to get to the mall for last minute shopping before she has to be at work at 3PM and her work is calling here every 20 mins asking if she is coming in. Everybody called off, there were only like 6 employees in the whole store, lol. Anyway, my neighbor said he would pull me to the main road if I get stuck, but that doesn't do me much good for coming home later We'll see.

Well, I tried but it was another failed attempt, car got stuck worse this time, had to shovel part of the street to get it back into the god damn driveway. Told my wife she was not going to work, but she ------- called somebody there with a 4 X 4 and they came got her, I was pissed that I wasted all my energy and now I have oil coming from under the hatch somewhere. Oh and to top it off, now (which is 2 hours after i tried) the ------- plow finally goes down my street. He only made one pass and it prolly needs 3, but I think I might be able to go somewhere now. It really sucks, she was going to do some last minute shopping before she went to work this morning. I think I said this in the initial post, but I HATE SNOW!!!!

She's more than dedicated man, sometimes it actually disgusts me how much time she puts in. Her only scheduled day off this week was Christmas day. We both used to work for the same company. I hated just about every minute of the time that I worked there and I had almost 7 years in there. It sucks because no matter what you do there....it's never good enough. The job does have it's benefits and she make decent money, but there are times I wish I could just bomb the ------- place. Well, all 600+ of the places plus the corporate office in MN. Wishful thinking I guess.
