what does birthday have to do with it?? we have to get inspected exactly a year after our last inspection, in my case, in february.

In certain counties, we have this thing called E-Check. Before you can renew your tags, you have to go to a testing station and have your emissions checked (e-check, duh!) and I was just guessing that you, like most people, renew your tags around your birthday.

eh, you complaining about obdII emissions testing, here in Cali they are trying to make it so they could test the 20+ year old cars which were before excluded from emissions.

Just bootleg the smog. Or buy another ecu, which you'll probably pay more than you sold it :P Oh and buy it now, before people catch on and buy up the cheaper ones.
