there's nothing wrong with your car that won't pass inspection. all they look at is your lights, tires, cat, horn, and windshield wipers. you should see some of the cars i've had in the past that passed legitimately :-X

bull ----. remeber pushin the civic with lindsays trooper? we broke the tail light. my tires were 100% bald showing cords, i didnt have 4 way flashers, the windsheild has a chip in it, and the exhaust is 'rigged. :P

WIth OBDII emissions they connect to your OBDII port and check for codes. Doesn't work when you are converted and you fail on the spot.

In certain counties, we have this thing called E-Check. Before you can renew your tags, you have to go to a testing station and have your emissions checked (e-check, duh!) and I was just guessing that you, like most people, renew your tags around your birthday. :-*

eh, you complaining about obdII emissions testing, here in Cali they are trying to make it so they could test the 20+ year old cars which were before excluded from emissions.

Just bootleg the smog. Or buy another ecu, which you'll probably pay more than you sold it :P Oh and buy it now, before people catch on and buy up the cheaper ones.
