my rex has been running at a max of 1500 rpm for the last 2 mounths and i tried everything to fix it.
everyone was stumped. Me and my bestfriend are bouth mechanics and we spen hours on the car.
i put a new chip in the ecu and pluged it back in, the car started and ran perfect all the way to 8200rpm
this was the best news i had in a long time with this car. i got my new piller pod and guages and have a new tach comming(Thanx guy's). The track opens in cayuga on the 8th and i will be there weather i finish my rex or not.
i might have to race with my auto civic dx 95. oh well, racings still fun even if u lose every race. well thats it im happy, if u dont like my post well ---- u then later

ps any one in the ontario area want to come to the track with us the more the marryer let me know

it always is, thats why its so hard, i usually go for the harder stuff first and get frustrated. i drove around w/o ac for like 2 months, only to get bored and check the fuse to realize someone took that ---- out.

i didnt realy fix it, i had the chip and the car wouldnt work and then today i just took out the other ecu for the ---- of and and when i sarted the car the turbo was spinin and up went the rev's, im glad i rewired the intire dpfi to mpfi lastweek inorder to try to find the problem. and it had nothing to do with it.

Haha same ---- happened to me accept the plug that connected to the ac compressor was unplugged wtf. Talk about some simple ----.
