Dude i am sooo ------- over looking for cars. Im trying to get a ------ reliable car for like around the 3k 3500 range ballpark and i cant find ----! all i see is ---- like this http://norfolk.craigslist.org/ctd/850417301.html which looks awesome fromthe ad, worth it in price and all that but then of course when i get there, interior is a little more worn and you can visably tell its been popped in the ass. truck seems line up good but there is only orange peel in teh paint on the trunk and bumper but the rebar underneath is cool and trunk metal is all factory and still sealed. rides good no woobles but as soon as I express interest its thug central. Like atleast 4-5 dudes approched me when i started showing interest in working a deal adn none of them were over 26 tops. all of them were waring like Huge ass jeans, timbos flat brimmed NY hats and all that "So you like dis max dawg?, why aint you be leavin with it yo. wes can hook u up son"

and of course, then he acts like hes sittin on the badest max ever that everyone is beatin down his door for ::) its was wierd when over teh phone he was like dont worry if ithas more on it on the lot thats teh cash internet price but when i get there he was like "Nah you tryin to work me already its 4500 but I wont squabble over a few hundered. 4200 is fine. ...right. ::)

I'd pay 3600 and not a penny more, worth it? should i even try to bargin with teh used auto thugs?

Funny thing is the "salesman" was a white kid like about 19 or so but he was blacker than some of the black dudes i work with.

Chris that is a good deal and I'd love to take you up on it since its obvious the previous owner knew what the deal was lol. But its a little out of my price range and I'm certainly not gonna low ball you cause im sure that car is worth every penny of that price.

I might be able to go as high as 4 on a car but im pretty poor. :-\

Dude, i hear you. I just picked up a 95 hatch with a really minty body for WNY. The guy told me it had just had the timing done, and on the way back from getting the timing done, the crank pulley flew off, and that it just needed to be put back on. He said he already had a new pulley and new belts, so whatever, I'll just do it right? Well I got it home and the crank pulley bolt was broken off in the crank. After several painful hours we were able to extract it. The pulley he gave me didn't fit at all, so I had to pull it off my spare d15, which didn't have p/s. Well, there goes my first car to have p/s. Now theres a whine sound coming from the timing belt. :S ------- douchebags. He didn't count on me now knowing where he lives though. O0

Buying used cars is a pain. Buy Chris Harris teg and have him take off some parts to meet your price range. You know the history and he's white too.

I once looked at a si civic (ZC) , took it for a test rape and it was all good , but dodgy as owners >:D

---- trying to sell a used car, too. People these days don't know what "FIRM" means. If I say $4000 FIRM, that doesn't mean I will take $3500 or even consider any stupid reasoning you might come up with. Some dickhead offered me trade-in value on a car I'm selling. If I wanted trade-in value I'd trade the mother fucker in and get fucked at a dealership. If I was taking offers I probably wouldn't have included the word "FIRM" after my price. Craigslist is the worst. I can't believe how stupid some of those people are. :3 How did they even manage to navigate across the internet to get to Craigslist? ???

So true. When I was selling my 94 Del Sol Vtec in the spring the first guy that came to look at it was wit his grandfather who was making the decision. I had it listed for $5000 with stock rims $5500 with Konigs. Well he called right after it listed to come look and I didn't have time to take the rims off. Well they offered $3500. I was thinking fool are you ------- retarded? Well then $3700. Finally he was like now all we came with was $4k. I was like nah man can't go that low. I was like lowest I would go it $4200 without rims. He then says he will pay $4200 with rims. Said no can do, $4500 bottom dollar with rims, won't go any lower and I don't want to go that low, but you got here before I could take them off. The dick around for a few minutes and "need time alone". So they decide to buy it and the old fart counts the money out three times. They leave with the young kid GRINDING the hell out of every gear (wasn't even using the clutch) on my mint vtec. I was sick just knowing the thing would be trashed. Anyways, go in and recount the money and the dumb ass had two sets of bills stuck together. So ended up giving me $4700. I bought it from some old people though and with rims only had about $4400 in it. So still made $300.

Now I get my Prelude and hang on to it for a few months when I decide ---- this premium gas wasting -----. First guy comes from Nashville (about 3+ hours from here). Wants to buy it for his daughter and even brings a trailer, because she can't drive stick yet. I had it listed for $5500 would have took $4500. He doesn't buy it because it needs and alignment. WTHF? Are you ------- serious? You wasted $100 driving your big ass truck and trailer down here to pass it up for a $50 alignment? Then some other guy was seriously calling me 10+ times a day wanting it. I finally called him back and he starts in with the same BS saying he can't come up with it all. Finally tell him $5300 bottom dollar. He shows up to drive it, and buys it for $5300 sure enough. Get's home and calls me saying I screwed him his friend says the tranny is trashed. LMFAO, he drove it. He knew 3rd gear was grinding like most Hondas but I screwed him? Wtf, I say oh well bill of sale said as is.

I posted my pops 700 dollar 88 F150 up there. Now how much truck are you expecting for 700 bucks? You're basicly expecting it to be straight, all body panels, an interior and driveable right? well the fucker wanted engine shots and interior shots and this and that.

haha the retards on craigslist is crazy, i too wonder how they manage to serf the site and even somehow call or email you. makes for some funny stories though. i like messing with the ones that cant speak english or you know they dont have all the money.

Mine was nice minus the cheapo front bumper and hood I threw on..... til this morning when someone backed into the quarter panel :'(

Left it at the old man's place until I had time to move it into the garage as my new place doesn't allow cars parked outside. First day of frost and he's too lazy to scrape the windows. ------ A it's all caved in.

i usually st the price higher than i wanot to sell so that when thes assholes come and day well ill offer you XXX, its usually where i want to sell the car for anyway. people ae retarded for sure.
