fuck these rims going oem need opinions
 

my wheels suck ass on the snow and i think they are ugly but i bought them with the car, anyways im going to buy these 2002 si wheels from my local junkyard for 100 wheels and good tiers they are 15" and the rims are in good condition, u guys think its worth it, heres a pic of my car now

any other suggestions, i want something not so ricy and cheap would be good too, ones i got now are 17"

ya man, it's not the WHEELS, it's the TIRES that are the problem ;)

summer tires are what they are. SUMMER tires ;)

02 Si wheels for $100 w/ tires sounds like a deal to me, go for it.

lol kumho escta are badass in the snow... the only time I have ever curbed a car in my entire life was on those tires. Those tires are only good for doing burnouts, theres a reason why they come standard on Kia's ;)

i had them bitches on my avenger...thats the only way i could do a burn out...and that was with a 55shot!!!! ;D

i got fuzion zri tires. 205/45/83w. so far i have no complaints, they hold up nicely to camber, and grip on everything. decent price too. i picked up all four for $381.98.

The rims are not your problem, even though there ugly. It must be the tires. IF anything the tires on it should be wider than stock rims and get better traction. Lil stock tires and rims will give you less traction fool.

I like hx rims myself, i think ive seen some people use miata rims that are like 9 pounds each, dont know much about that though.

in the winter it would be better to get narrower tires. smaller contact patch = more downforce per square inch. :)

----, i live in NH and we see our fair share of snow and i had rota slipstreams with kumho escta and they were ok. ITS NOT ALWAYS THE TIRE BUT THE DRIVER :3

I have Kumho's in the WRX, I like them, but then again, I have no snow in florida, and the rain is fun with AWD ;)


Funny story, one time with my old civic, I was looking to get some 17" tires and saw an add on the paper for some used tires, 6 17's for $50. So I call it was an old guy. I asked them what type of tires and what size they where.

He told me there where some "Cum-Hoes", well he pronounced it that way, then he asked me why I was laughing. :8 ;D

the new si wheels suck i had them they look gay but for 100 thats a good deal! but anything is better than those gay ass wheels you got.
