It takes a bit of ***** to take someone's image they created and add your website tag to it. I've shared a lot of stuff I was learning about openly, good and bad information, and then this dick throws his website's name on an image I created probably 4 years ago and thinks it's okay. ---- him. He sucks.

to top it off, he acts like he did a huge favor by "hosting it on his server". right thing to do would have been to either give credit for it or say it wasn't his.

I was thinking the same thing. his reasoning is 'it is hosted on my server' but who put it there? probably him.

you should definately put your own tag on any image you post up in the future if you're not interested in someone taking and misleading people that it is their work.

I'm not really pissed off, just agitated. I never liked the guy and I hate when people do stuff like that. I've posted information on the Internet and I don't care if people use it, share it, or profit off of it. I do care if someone takes something I did, takes credit for it, and acts as if I'm wrong for getting pissed off about it. I've written scripts in the past that were part of Crome for Uberdata and visa versa. Never once did I not include in the post or in the script or both who I got the information from or where I based on my information from.

I'm still on the record stating, ---- this guy and if I met him, I'd ---- in his purse.

Not that I'm siding with him, but if he hosted it on his server it may have automatically put the tag on the picture without him actually intending to do so. He probably hosted it on his own server so that he wouldn't leech somebody else's bandwidth, and so the image link wouldn't randomly break. That is a good practice. I think we-todd-did used to do something like that, everything you uploaded automatically got stamped. I really wouldn't even worry about it.

Now if it was a shot of your car and he put a tag on it, that would be something to get pissed about.

i can understand your frustration bigwig and i think its funny that he considers it to be wrong but he still put his tag on it and posted it as reference for someone else

on a side note, is there anything like that for ignition? i want to get a good street tune on my civic so i can have some fun for a couple months before i take it down for the vitara build. i cant see wasting money on a dyno tune when it will be worthless in short time

You are so angry, Rass.

I've had a bad attitude towards John Vega in the past, which I've tried to work past. I can't say I agree with how he dealt with things in that HT thread, but I can't see why anyone should treat you fairly when you apporach the matter in the way you did.
