nasty cancer there. i had my crx painted a couple years ago and there was rust i didn't even know was there. the guys did a pretty good job of fixing it though, no cheese, they welded everything up with new steel. who ever had painted the car before just put filler in all the holes.

there really is no 100% way to cure rust, unless you put a new panel in there. :-\
if you do fix that, sand the area all the way to the metal, and sand it out about 8-10" from the spot. I would bet money there is rust about 8 inches away from the rusted spot. :-\ |

It's the salt on the roads that kills me...i had 1 little rust spot in june of 03...after winter 04, damn thing turned into the size of a golf ball and fell out :-X I sanded it down to metal and tossed some JB Weld stick in there...hasn't rusted out yet after i painted over it, but i'm sure it will :'(

I bet a b16 makes more power N/a thatn then engine running 9 pounds or whatever. the have stron bottom ends but the heads flow like ----. I"m pretty sure you can make over 300 ft/lbs of torque on a stock bottom end tho :-*

not bad at all, i know a pair of twin ek hatches running turbo gs-r's here in atl, they both were at a dyno day at a local shop and both laid down 550whp and some change
they both are suppose to be good for some kinda 9, anyhow those are the only FWD ones i know of but im sure there are more living in the south 90% of the fast cars here are RWD muscle cars |
