well, my car sits in the backyard now, unlocked on the driver side and locked on the pass. i swear to god, NEVER BUY A MODDED CAR. this person (who is in the military now so i can't go and cuss him out) who did ---- to my car before it was mine, was a dumbass.

the locks are disconnected from the outside, IE, the key is pointless. doors are locked and unlocked via the alarm. the inside on the passenger, can't even lock/unlock.

now, of course my car has had little quirks, but they've just gone from nothing, to bad, to really ------- terrible. the wiring on the alarm.. looks like a toddler trying to tie his shoe for the first time. it's rediculous. AND, it's not even done right. there's some connection, SOMEWHERE that doesn't stay connected. several times i've had to pull back my driver side window, unlock, and get in to fix the alarm. "fixing" meaning punch the wires a few times till it disarms the alarm.

but now, it seems like its really fucked up. i just spent the last 2 hours trying to fix this ----, after finishing an 8 hour shift at work. all i wanted to do, was come home, change, and go play xbox 360 at my buddies house. no ------- dice.

other things that **** me off about my car: gauge cluster backlight sometimes get disconnected. why? no idea. the spark plug cover was painted some kind of burgandy. i tried to turn it back into silver, now it just looks like puke. the steering column is ------- turned to the left. someone thought it would be cool to hit my only clean side of my car, with a deadblow hammer. the only key I have, only works on the ignition. missing screws and bolts up the ***. my VTEC decided to go ---- itself (see, "Where'd my vtec go?").

and now, I have ANOTHER thing keeping me away from boost. maybe this is a sign

it's gonna be fun taking out my dash. I hate it worse than doing radios for annoying sand-------s. i think im just gonna use my 4dr LX dash harness, and re-install the alarm myself.. oh, and because I can't unlock my passenger door from the inside, OR the outside.. how the ---- am i supposed to take off the panel or remove the dash bolt.. ----

congrats. if you have full coverage go take it out to a field and burn it.

taking dashe's out only takes like 5 minutes. lol. its i think 13 bolts total and then yo u have the 2 clip grounds and then the radio wire. thats it, so easy. Need any help i dont htink we are to far. hit me up

I'd get rid of the alarm and never reinstall it on any car ever again. Buy your own alarm and do it yourself if you're capable of it.

Do you have power door locks or something? I haven't seen a honda with those for awhile...lol. PDL is satan.

iono.. there's just something about the EG dashes that pisses me off, hardcore

no power locks. person installed actuators, but got lazy on connecting the manual locks I guess. I seriously fear my car getting jacked, so no alarm is not an option. my friend is going to get an alarm installed at Best Buy i think for like $150, I think I might jump on that as well.

Ive bought my Si and wound up replacing everything from engine to suspension, I know that feeling.

toast that alarm and i bet your getting messed up grounds somwhere for your cluster. My guess is that all of this stuff is related to a single problem

pull the lower window seal off on the outside and use a slimjim to move the lock actuator. I've had to do it a few times on other cars when the lock rods wore out and popped off the latch mechanism.

I could never get a slim jim to do it. You have to pull up on the end of the lowest rod. It's easyier with a coat hanger.

any idea where its located? i know on the driver side the main part of actuator is about where the handle is on the outside
