I contacted CNN, Yahoo.com, Google, and my local news station regarding this writeup. Sounds to me like it's no joke. If you read it thoroughly it makes alot of sense. The University of Alberta,CA were the founders, however the University of Southern Mississippi had taken notice and released this article. I wonder what will happen when the media catches it. Basically it's a simple drug called dichloroacetate, and that drug is already in use to treat metabolic disorders. Here's the big catch. Pharmaceutical companies probably won't invest in research into DCA because they won't profit from it. It's easy to make, unpatented and could be added to drinking water. Imagine, Gatorade with cancer control.

It raises blood glucose levels as much as threefold so there is a good chance it would make a solid ingredient in an energy drink. I'm not sure if this was on a patient with low glucose levels, normal glucose levels, or had some biochemical issue why it would raise their glucose and not regular peoples... I was skimming and just reading highlights that caught my eye.
