Sick and ------- tired of looking for loans all day. ------ a I make over 30 a year, have a credit score over 650 own a ------- house and cant get a goddamn loan for 10 with a apr under ------ 10%. wtf.

...but if i want to bury myself in debt and get sometihgn new in the 25K range I get all sorts of awesome rates and loans thrown at me. why is it so ------- hard to live inside my means. ----.

I seem to have no trouble getting loans through chase... I owe them two full years tuition now since the govt wont give me loans and I figure I might as well ---- myself and get the first people who approve me. They also offer me 10k a year in additional non school related loans if I want it but I work really hard to try and avoid that. I make about 4k a month in the summer but its kind of hard to LIVE for 9 months on what you make in 3. ---- this black monkey government who puts spooks through school to play basketball and people who want to work for life and do something productive have to kill themselves and ----- themselves out to get a piece of ---- degree.

Didnt try chase but i doubt it will be much better since 3 have told me the same. and of course they will actually give me the money but its at a rate or payment plan that is ridiculous. No one wants to pay 300 a month on a 8-10K car or pay 10+apr. thats just insane.

Im fixing the situation currently with heineken and bong hits and makeing gfood progress.

What are you trying to get the loan for?

If it's a vehicle over 10 years old, what you're describing is pretty standard. I've never tried to get a personal loan over $2500 so I'm not sure if your qualifications would get you a 10k personal loan or not.

not sure if this is true or not but....


everytime someone runs a credit check on you it can/does lower your overall points. and when creditors see that your shopping around for a loan based on the number of times your report has been pulled they look down on that and will raise the rate of the offered loan to you.

Its not...

you do get a small "ding" when you look apply for credit, but you can shop the ---- out of it after taht... you have 30? days to apply at as many places as you wish (as long as its for the same type of loan) and it will not impact you.

FYI a 650 FICO isn't that fantastic. I'm going to assume you have some negative ---- on your credit reports? Some late payments or some collections? Short credit history?

You're applying for a fairly small loan on a cheap, older car that isn't going to hold it's value for very long. Banks don't want to loan against an asset that's going to be worth the equivalent to PISS in less than half of the term of the loan. That leaves them with nothing to secure the loan if you ---- up. Consider yourself lucky to be getting offers of around 10% for such a loan. Also, used car loans in general don't allow for prime interest rates like new cars do.

Used, old car=higher interest rate
New car=low interest rate

Unsecured loans (loans that don't have collateral such as a car/house or something they can repo if you don't pay) - $10,000 is a lot of money to loan based strictly on credit history... 10%+ is fairly standard.

Credit Unions are your friend.
