Fruity loops

Has anyone use this program. Its a program virtual studio program where you can make your own music beats. I downloaded it last nite and its not bad, especially for a beginner like me :P Anyways do think its worth it to buy the full version off their site? I was making some tite ass beat last nite and it wont let me save cuz I have a demo version >:( Or does anybody know where to get a fullversion for free ;) Like a crack keygen or something i dunno. Any input, or if there's a better program to use let me know. thanks everyone

Fruityloops is alright to begin with. I don't really like the setup that they have going on where you've got to navigate throughout the program and all the different items to find what you need. It's also a little tricky to get the hang of, but it's definately a good program to start with. Kain is also on the right track too, but I'd go that route with a little more experience. Those Rollands are worth quite a bit of dough and you really don't need to spend that if your just a beginner, and not even sure if you'll like music producing ;)

lol, yeah dude i dont think I have that kind of cash flow to mess with Roland ---- yet. Yeah it did take me a while to get the hang of it. I think the only reason Im doing this is because its pretty fun and plus I just wanted to learn something new. But its a new step for me and Im gonna try to get better at it and eventually buy the real deal someday.

I actually bought FL a couple of years ago... They would send me emails when new versions came out and upgrades were always free. As far as I know, they're not a big huge corporation.

Their fairly large actually. Theres quite a few other versions out there that you can pick up and try as well, but the newer one is better (obviously). The Chemical brothers have used FL for some of their songs as well as a few other big name artists. You really don't get bored with it or finding yourself running out of material because theres so much you can do with just one sound to create a ton of different effects etc. Just like everything else it's all up to the user's prefference. Some people just need to try out a few different programs before you find the one you like and can work with. Heh, like me. :P
