Most of it goes to the company my wife gets like 50 cents or some lowball ---- like that for delivery. The most fucked up part is they upped there delivery charge because "gas went up" but the drivers didnt see any of that, and now that gas is back down again they are still charging as if gas was 4.50 a gallon.

I'm appalled at how incomprehensive you truly are. Once more, and do try to keep up this time...

i understand what you wrote.
i'm just pointing out how the % crap that most people use is worthless.
you should tip on how much the waiter had to work, not how much his employer charges for food.

The main problem I have with the BS delivery charge is that it is not transparent...you place your order (1st they ask, "pickup---or delivery") now at this moment when I say delivery they should be forthright and say there is a delivery charge of X-amount but they dont. I procede in making my order and then they say, "tax and delivery charge it will be X-amount"

I used to tip drivers very well.... like when I go out to eat but, I very rarely tip drivers these days (which are far and few in between when I order pizza)
The biggest tip I gave a driver was twenty bucks. I was in the ghetto at the time, and figured I would make it worth his emotional time

Here you go...(a little advice on life):

1) If you don't like the service at a restaurant or bar..............don't ------- patronize the joint. Simple.

2) Go work in a restaurant for a little while. You will come to appreciate food working staff and all the ---- those people have to put up with one a daily basis. Maybe they weren't on their A-game while Your Highness was there but they have to deal with some outrageous ---- behind the curtain and with other customers just to get you your food and pretend they give a flying ---- about how you are doing or how your day was.

My slutty waitress at this college establishment brought me and my buddies our beers, spilled on the table and on her hands. I basically told her she was a useless ---- and she wiped her hand (still covered in beer) across my face. I then proceeded to use every napkin in sight to wipe my face and then told her we were out and that she needed to go get us more, being a good ----- she did. A couple more eye ***** later and the stupid **** still got like 25% tip.

Bottom line, Its shitty work, tip your ------- server and don't be an ------- unless provoked, ever seen the movie "waiting". They don't just make all that ---- up so unless you want your cocktail stirred by the chefs meat straw, pick your battles.

Example if I go to Sizzler or some other type of dine in restaurant where the manager/owner gives the wait staff an *** load of tables and he or she works their *** off and gives everyone crappy service should I tip them well?

That is one reason I dont like dine at a restaurant where the wait staff is extremely burdened..the other is the food probably taste like ----.

I use to work in the dine in restaurant industry for several years. (I NEVER WORKED AT FAST FOOD!) I remember that on the week ends we always got people coming in right at closing...one time in particular this minority group came in about closing time and the waitress greeted them, took their drink order...then she came back to the table to take their entree order, and they said and I quote, "We wants them 16 oz baby back prime ribs" (party of 4). And so the retarded waitress not seeing through their lack of a culinary vocabulary asked them, how do you want it cooked....they replied in a stunned voice, "uhhhh well done" So the waitress brings out 4 portions of 16oz prime rib well done (yuck)...You should have seen their eyes when they brought it out there were like WTF is this? Where are the bones? The waitress said you want the babyback ribs.??..they said yeh...make sure they gots bones.

So the manager comped their meal and they did not leave a tip...she was so pissed off...

you don't know where i've worked.
all i'm saying is you tipping 20% doesn't always make sense. look at my example. someone brings out 10 bowls of soup and you only leave less than a dollar. just cause your food cost $5 doesn't mean they only did $5 worth of service.
if you don't understand this then you need to get a job at olive garden and deal with the $1 tip from the fat *** that ate 20 bowls of soup.

if you get bad service or don't like the service you got then you should tip how you feel, but to say you always tip a % is stupid ----.
