I call BS on the video, who needs seal conditioner anyway.

I wonder how good it is compared to castrol GTX, I've been using castrol in pretty much every car I've owned, and have not had any problems at all.

Cleanest ls motor I have taken apart was a penzoil motor for life. Bearings/cylinder walls were perfect after almost 200k

First motor I took apart was a penzoil motor all it's life since my mom bought it brand new. Black sludge caked over everything. I mean it took 15 min to dig around and find all the head bolts. had to scrape that crusty sludge off with a screw driver.

2nd motor I took apart was a penzoil motor all it's life since my mom bought it new. Clean as ----.

both had around 150k when taken apart, both gm 2.0L shitboxes It's all about how you change it and how you beat it.

i used to buy penzoil, until i saw with my own eyes what'll happen if that oil sits for a while. turns into a brick :3 i remember I just heard it a few days ago but can't quite remember, something like penzoil has bees wax in it. sure it'll probably work fine in a daily beater with regular oil changes, but I don't use it in a motor I care about.

I don't use it, employees of a local parts store don't use it, my auto teacher don't use it, a local shop used to use it until they found a brick for themselves. they sent it into penzoil asking WTF and they never replied

Your supposed to put the oil INSIDE the motor, sure the head bolts can be crusty or sludgy, its called you pour oil on them and then dirt sticks to it. It wouldnt make one bit of a difference what oil your mom was using those head bolts would have still been sludgy.

From what I hear you can mix weight's of oil, but your not supposed to mix brands, although they are pretty much all the same.

There isn't supposed to be dirt chillin under the valve cover inside the engine, I meant in between the rockers and everywhere some serious build up that should not exist anywhere inside an engine.

and about that wax thing, I pulled a 63' buick out of a barn after 20 yrs, and the oil still ran fine. But when I put a 400 sbc in my camaro that sat for 2 years, I had to drop the pan first cause the oil was like a block of wax sittin down there. I left the engine on a stand for two days with the plug removed, barley got a quart out and it was still strung from the pan to the floor. Wish I new what kind of oil it was.
