My friend James had a couple siezures beating Mortal Kombat back in the HS days, with how the screen flickers after beating Shang Tsung. He wouldn't stop playing, and cut down on his phenyl barbitol/tegritol because it fucked with his reflexes. Scary, not just because he was an epileptic so much as he was 6'7" and broke stuff flailing around.
