ok, here's a link i found, i was going to save it till Thursday night, be it's freakin' me out, so here it is early.

Basically, they opened a cat's head, and put in monitoring electrodes to the back of it's eyes (along the optic nerve), and used a computer to translate the signals, and tried to see how close they could get to the actual image. Figure "b" shows the actually image on top, and what the computer was able to translate the signals into. mind you, there weren't cameras, these are signals straight from the cat's eyes. (no gross pics or anything on the page). this is from 1999 (and on Harvard's website), so i wonder where they're at in develeopment now..... you know, there's been that stray cat in my neighborhood that keeps looking into my windows....

Yeah doesn't really freak me out. "The Ring" ------- freaked me out though. Dammit now I am scared cause I was thinking about that movie. :(

dude.....that movie was SCARY. the best part was the ---- that was cut out......the dont look here or whatever on the dvd...........damn.....not gonna sleep well now.....wheres my pit bull.....

There's actually a stray cat I see in my yard every once in a while. It was sitting by my back door one day just looking at me. Maybe somebody is watching. It still doesn't scare me though they can watch if they want.

well that was pretty stupid thing to do to the cat... i mean come on now.. think of all the money they wasted cutting that cat open and ghetto rigging its eyes up just to get fuzzy reception, when they should have just strapped one of those X10 cams on that cats head and saved yourself some ------- money,.

they could as easily implant the antenna in its tail.....complete sleeper install.......now thats something to make ya nervous.......you wouldnt have any iddea the thing was abnormal at all

yeah, one of those wire antennas, not the stiff metal kind. once the fur grew back, you'd never know. also, think about this; this was FOUR years ago.... think about how much smaller transmitters and things have gotten in the last four years, who knows what they could fit it into now!
