Wedge issue, wedge issue (my perception isn't sure what a wedge issue is) let the republicans "undermine the integrity of intellegent people". Do you have to be intellegent to have integrity? Or?. It seems to me that the point you are trying to make with this would be made 100% by peoples perception of 1) what is a "wedge" issue. 2) How a wedge issue can undermine integrity. 3) but only of intellegent people.
The wedge issues I was refering too were the gay marriage and the abortion issues. I think it undermines the integrity of a lot of people because it starts drawing the attention away from issues that actually matter. Every campaign has wedge issues, but they aren't supposed to be as big of wedge issues as the Republican party ran on. I never saw a bumper sticker about the economy or a bumper sticker about the No Child Left behind act. All I saw were "One man and One Woman" bumper stickers and ---- like that. It was disgusting how they somehow managed to put Jesus as Bush's running mate.

All of what I'm saying requires a lot of explanation and stuff, but as far as I'm concerned, this is just enough to leave some open ends to spur some argument.

And to B16CRXT- I do believe that China has the largest land army. I don't know about the largest military. I think that America has the largest military, but China is definitely the largest land army.
