Why do that when you can buy it, fix it and turn it around in an hour for 3-4k more than you bought it for?

UNFORTUNATELY, our cars do deppreciate like a mafucker. I've looked online, and a SRT-4 of the same year model sometimes with HIGHER mileage will still fetch 2 or 3k more dollars than our cars. As far as them being a pos, I'd have to disagree. The cars did come FROM THE FACTORY with some problems, the stock manifold has a catalyst built into it that has been known to break up and be sucked in to the engine, and the screws which keep the butterfly valves in the intake manifold have been known to come aloose and get sucked into the engine, once again causing damage. Those are easy fixes, though. ANYBODY with half a brain can AND WILL get rid of that shitty manifold. And those screws can be reinstalled with locktite or you can remove the screws and butterflies if you're going the boosted route. I like the front end of the 02-03 cars better, but those cars have a few more problems than what ppl experience with the 04-06 models. Personally, I'd fix the car for the guys to make a lil bread, but if you already have another Spec as it is, I wouldn't even bother. I got about $3500-$4K in my turbo setup. If you're gonna spend that kinda bread on a Spec, you might as well boost the one you already have.

well, i fucked up. i still havent mailed in my title to have it changed over, so i cant carmax it. so what i did, i took up the dealer's offer to trade straight up. to him it seems like a dream come true. but in reality, i am ------- him. my white one is an 02 with 96,000 miles, it has been wrecked (before i got it) and the moron who did the body work sucked. my old red one is an 03 with 80,000 miles, and is in flawless condition. my white one kbb'd for 6100, and the red one is 8690.
im gonna try to get him to give me some boot on the trade, but im not gonna sweat it for real. im getting a hell of a deal for real.

You ever seen a picture of the rods on them? They make D15 look manly.
