Ya know my best friend's dad runs a good sized salvage yard.. I'll see if maybe I can score a b18b1 for a nice price.

nice find on the VR4. projekteg was right. the VR4 needs those turbo's to prodce power to compesate for the weight.

kinda in the same sense as a big diesel semi needs a turbo to make up for the weight its towing.

none-the-less, the VR4 is a great car though, and can produce enourmous amounts of power. the only draw back, is the weight. I think that has been mentioned.

-get that small boost leak fixed, and just put a small NOS system on it. I mean, since you already have boost, get the next best thing, next to a performance part rebuild of coarse...

nos yeah ok ::) Why use that when we can just slap on 2 bigger turbos and up the boost. ???

all the vr-4 needs to be damn fast is to turn the boost up some (and upgrade the turbos really)...i owned one, they are fun cars but its just too big for me(on the outside, the inside is tiny)...and that 14.8 must be with someone launching it at like idle :-X

the gearing isnt all that great on them either, they move on the freeway but are dogs off the line

Its a very fun car at a great price and just like any factory turbo car can be upgraded very effectively fairly simply if you have some know how.

Dog off the line? wtf are you talking about ::) Most any 4wd car can hardly be called a dog off the line.
