Me and my wife have had a chihuahua for about 5 years and just got another yesterday.
My wife is a vet and it was a patient. The owners wanted it put to sleep because it shattered it's leg/hip (fell out of a car window...------- idiot dog owners) and they werent willing to pay the $1000+ for a comlete amputation so we are giving it a 2nd chance at life.
It's gonna be stuck in it's cage for a few months while it recooperates but so far it seems to be doing pretty good for something that just had an entire leg lobbed off. Dog seems pretty cool. Wife came home crying late last week begging me to let her have it. Cant say no to a crying woman....it will be my undoing.

k i hung it like a pinyata and hit it with a bat then skinned it and made beef jerkey. jk some hott chic picked him up cuz i called a chihuaha center. the chic said he is a mix chihuaha. o well idc im not a dog expert
