found a dog
so i was vaccuuming my car before i put my seats back in with a water vaccuum. and i look near me and this little chihuaha is staring at me i got scared and jumped and he ran away. so i tried offer him some treats he kept running down the street and back barking at me. finnaly he let me pet him and then he followed me around my garage. i got a 15year old lab mix and a 1 year old dobe mix. i want to keep this dog he is tight. hopefully my parents will let me keep him. im going to name him whatever that taco bells dogs name is?

i did put up alotof signs saying found dog. one bitch said she lost a chihuaha and hasnt called back and asked if i can keep it until tommorow i told her im going to take it to the pound and she didnt show up 2 hours ago like she said she would. some guy said people will make up excuses because these dogs are worth alot. maybe i will sell it for $500 and get some new parts for my car =P

don't contribute to overpopulated shelters, every pure breed dog has a rescue organization that takes care of that specific breed of dog. i definately wouldn't keep him around since you have a dobe, or you may come come to dead yo quiro taco bell dog, lol.

LOL, this is funny. At first you like it, then you realize the dog is ------- stupid because it has no brain pan.
Seriously, the smartest dogs ever are Poodles... but all you see are inbred stupid toy and miniature Poodles. Never the full (medium) sized real thing. People are stupid like that. Some of the miniatures are pretty decent when it comes to a mix of small/cute and intelligent; Manchesters (small Dobermans), Shelties, etc. Still not hugely bright animals, but you can housebreak them and teach them to be quiet, minimal health problems, and they don't shake all the time from inbreeding. |

Was there anything about the dog that sets it apart? like a scar, or collar, or something that only the REAL owner would know? make them answer that right before you hand the dog over.

Medium runs up pretty big, with large being Great Danes and Pirinese (sp?) and the like.
I'm not buying the concept a non-inbred miniature or toy poodle, especially a toy, but you might have a good bloodline. Intelligence can be bred for, just like size, and that's probably how your dog was produced. PS - post pics of Fluffy, eh? Might as well post up the pups to this thread as it's been useles so far. |

Me and my wife have had a chihuahua for about 5 years and just got another yesterday.
My wife is a vet and it was a patient. The owners wanted it put to sleep because it shattered it's leg/hip (fell out of a car window...------- idiot dog owners) and they werent willing to pay the $1000+ for a comlete amputation so we are giving it a 2nd chance at life. It's gonna be stuck in it's cage for a few months while it recooperates but so far it seems to be doing pretty good for something that just had an entire leg lobbed off. Dog seems pretty cool. Wife came home crying late last week begging me to let her have it. Cant say no to a crying woman....it will be my undoing. |

havent figured out the name yet. We were thinking Tres (spanish for three duh) but wifey doesnt like that anymore. I think we might call her O.C. (Other Chihuahua)
