Found this deal on this Prelude
I guess there's a local who has a 88' Prelude SI w/ the 4wheel steering, and manual and all that.. perfect body for 300 bucks.. But it needs a head cuz the valves bent.. (probably timing belt).. Anybody know anything about swapping H-series motors in these things? that's the only way i'd buy it.

Re: Found this deal on this Prelude
H series wouldn't be a straightforward swap. Boost the crookedly mounted B20.

Re: Found this deal on this Prelude
I saw a one swapped with an h22 in it and it was slow, as in high 15's slow

Re: Found this deal on this Prelude
4ws is kinda fun to drive, but takes a bit to get used to. The first time i pulled one into the shop i nearly hit the wall coming through the door. Fuckers turn way sharper than the non 4ws preludes.

Re: Found this deal on this Prelude
I believe they make a mount kit to mount a H series into them but there's alot of work from what I remember. I say just boost the B20 that comes in it.

so the stock motor is a b20.. as in a b-series? would a b-series vtec head work on that block?
