Hey, does anyone know what F1 cars rev to? I looked all over for a good site, does anyone know of a good one that has a bunch of specs on those cars?

there was a video posted a while back of renault doing testing on an f1 motor, had it on a load dyno ripping it thru gears and ----, 19000rpms... and shooting beautiful blue flames out the tail the whole time.

also had some sort of weird open plenum intake, where there were just holes on the top of the intake mani and injectors sprayed down into the general direction of the holes, you could just watch it suck the fuel right in.

I think the cart motors are the only turbo charged ones. F1 stopped using any power adders in the mid 80s when people started making 1500hp on 1.5 liter v6s.

I thought F1 motors were limited to 3L, v-10, about 18K revs. The injectors at the opening of the bellmouth allow the fuel a more direct shot into the cylinder.
