That's the one I got. Took it to Turbo city and the guy said the WG started to open at 7psi. FYI. Don't worry, I WILL fix this.

IHI wasn't a T3 without the Garret name. It just had a T3 flange. IHI is a totally different turbo company.

I realise they are completly different turbos. I've owned both years of thunderbirds. Anyways I'm just stating that its still a T3 thats all i was saysing, nothign else implied.

Alright...its just how it is being said...some may not understand that its only the flange. Seen it on ClubSI where a whole thread of misinformation was being tossed around about the T3 and IHI turbos.

anyone know where I can get a 5-bolt exhuast flange that will fit the ford turbo, but not the factory one that tends to "right angle" directly into the block ?

You can get one off and 80s Saab or Volvo.I sold one to Racingskittle a while back for his garrett of a T-Bird.If you want ill get you one frome the junk yard.Pm me if you cant find one and you want me to get you one.
