Ford stripped out spark plug threads?!?

Re: Ford stripped out spark plug threads?!?
Even better story than this...
My ex girlfriend had this taurus that actually sucked in either part or the entire plug, and then spit it out through the side of the motor where it made a dent in the middle of the inside of the hood. (car did have pretty high miles, and was a taurus)
Also know my one friends zx2 escort spit a plug out all the time.
The weird thing is, I would bet there are more retarded ricers messing up Hondas every day, but they don't spit out plugs.
Must be an American thing.

Re: Ford stripped out spark plug threads?!?
I remember with my wife's ZX2 that she went through like 4 DPFE sensors at just 30,000 miles. Now she rolls in a chevy Venture and I told her come time to change the spark plugs...go to garage. lol. Not that it's something special. Just that the rears look like a nightmare to change.

BTW This is the number one reason for plug thread failure according to ford, but anything with 5 threads in aluminuim is asking for problems anyways.

Bumpin this thread up. Local 06' F150 for sale that I'm thinking of making an offer on. It has the 5.4L V8 in it with 48000 miles. Was this problem fixed yet?
What're your opinions for the people familiar with Fords? Not interested in the usual biased fords or domestics blow type of ----. I don't honestly know much about fords as my family and I all drive chevy and have since before I could remember.
Thanks.

rear axle seals will definately go out
rear brakes tend to wear fairly quickly
tire vibration if it has larger wheels than 17's even sometimes with the 17's its in the suspension desine, can usually be fixed by road force balancing the tires
third brake light may leak water into the cab
drivers side cowl panel may pop up(i've replaced 3 or 4 in the past 2 weeks all under waranty)
tires must be rotated ever 5,000 miles or the front tires will start to chop
the tilt handle for the steering wheel will fall off
the black lettering on the f150 badge will come off
The 3valve engine sounds like its going to explode on inital start up after an oil change, I suggest filling the filter with oil before installing
I'm probaully missing some things but I like driving them especially the king ranch, I'm sure a chevy tech could tell you as much stuff thats wrong with there trucks as well
