Ford 2.0 Zetech support

I have a friend who recently got a 1999 Cougar with Ford 2.0L Zetech engine in it. I know the engine is in the Focus, I've just completely lost any touch I've had with any Ford tuning websites and what not. Anywho he wants to HMT it and me and a few friends are going to help. So could anybody allude anything to me? Anything besides telling him to get rid of the car, its gay, etc. Thanks much.

I found that site. They're pretty big and their Forced Induction forum seems quite active and less close minded than Honda-Tech's.

Thanks much. The mani is the main concern I think we'll run into. Other than that I think we can wade through it ourselves.

It's MAF and has an "HF" type manifold. the intake manifold is plastic and it has an EGR system.

good luck

There's a local Fuckus kid with a DIY log that he spent so much time grinding the welds perfectly smooth that you think at first glance it's an aftermarket piece. It's a MAF vehicle. Runs a .60/.63 T3, DSM 450cc and AFC. He made 206 whp at either 6 or 8 psi, I misremember, but as far as HMT setups go his car was pretty neat and well laid out.

FYI, the Zetec mates to RWD T5 bellhousing... the top two bolts don't line up which is easily solved by a little fabrication or just not worrying about them entirely. Been considering Zetec power for my old GT6/Spitfire hybrid, as I can get a wrecked 75K mile ZX2 for $300.
