Food question.
Okay fellas, I need some food help. I don't want to workout or take steriods or take fatten ----. I just want to know what kind of semi-healthy foods you guys eat to gain wieght. I say semi healthy, cause if it's healthy it better taste good :P
Reason for this request, as skinny as I am I have lost 15 pounds over a month or 2, I don't excerise or workout, none of that nonsense for me, mostly from stress causing me not to eat. And well, I have a lot going on in my life all of it bullshit, and in the near future I will be back to a non-healthy lifestyle. Minimal sleep and more stress than a weasal's caboose. So i wanna eat more, so I don't become dust. I'm not looking to eat fast food anymore cause I'm already dead enough. So whatever, post up your guy's healthy meals and don't post rabbit food, I'm not gonna nibble on some lettuce leaves. :P |

Whey protein shakes, chicken breasts, eggs, tuna, lean steak, fish, lunch meat, cottage cheese, basically anything with protein and lots of it. |

yes sir... I love me some beef, but I get tired of eating the same beef, need to mix it up a little.
pasta... oh yeah pasta... I like pasta... and I'll toss in some beef too. O0 bacon... i likes bacon... but I think my heart is having enough trouble beating on it's own. :-\ |

I'm not realy sure what you're trying to do if you're just trying to gain weight cause you are too skinny just eat more than you currently do. |

If you just want to gain weight and not work out drink a 12 pack of dr.pepper a day. I did it my freshman year in college gained 20 pounds of chub

i'm by no means trying to get buff or workout. I just need some weight. I see in my near future that I will again be stressed over my head, so I want some solid heavy food that will contribute to weight gain. As I have gone without eating for a day or two last month due to the stress. I didn't know it had such an impact on my weight, 15 pounds for a skinny person like me is a lot.

All I eat is rice with meat sometimes veggies that how i gain weigth lifting weights also relief stress |

Eating good all the time is expensive so I hope you plan on spending some money :-[ Best things you can eat to gain weight would be lean meats like chicken and steaks. I just drink beer to gain weight ;)

i'll get you in shape murdoc. pasta, meat, eggs, and a protein shake is all you need. but you have to still work out. doesn't have to be hard just like something here or there. :)

go buy a can of chilli .. a box of cornbread mix, and a 6 pack of eggs.. chilli and cornbread is cheap, easy, hearty.

JD- yeah i know, eating in general is expensive too. I just kicked off my healthy eating to a good start, just gobbled down a 10 piece nugget, large fries and large coke :-\ Almost 7 bucks for that shitty meal. I figure that 7 bucks could buy me a nice hearty meal if I made it myself. mmmmm... chilli, eggs, cornbread maybe, not too much a fan of dry foods :P |

Can of chili? Blasphemy. A pound of meat, a thing of taco bell seasoning and a big can of tomatos. mmmmmmm. If i liked beans, i guess they'd be good in there too

two years ago i took these weight gainer drink from GNC, it comes in powder and you mix it with a cup of milk, take it 3 times a day.
i went from 130lb to 170 within a month and a half (thats with workout) i got scared, stopped and now my weight stays at 160, half of the reaosn i gain so much weight is that those drink makes me very hungry so i ate a lot more than what i normally do. |

make sure you split up your meals and eat like multiple times a day cuz your body can only digest like ~40 grams of protein at a time

so far today, I ate 10 piece nuggets, large fries. and right now I had a giant ice cream sandwich. :-\
Haven't had time to cook. but thanks for the info, nitecrawler. I'll definitely take that into consideration, never knew that, and if i did, i forgot and reknew it now? =P |

man i have like the opposite problem i have to eat extremely lean and no carbs whatsoever-- its way too easy for me to gain weight :(

I gained 20lbs, by eating late, and not eating healthy. My wife would come home at 930 from work, we would eat around 945, by 1030, we would be in the bed. over about 2 months, it put on about 30lbs for me. now im tryin to loose 20 of that. :-\
my point, eat late, then go to bed feeling stuffed. |

I'm about 5'11" and last time I checked I weighed 125. I used to weigh 140 the time before I checked :-\
Hmmm maybe I should try this eating late thing, but is it healthy? I mean can I choke on food trying to be digested :P Only problem is, I sleep like at 2-3 in the morning, not from going out or anything, just don't fall asleep til then :-\ |
