Default flywheel opinion

I can get a used type r flywheel for $65. Is it worth it to replace my stock ls flywheel? I think the stock one is 18lbs and the type r is 14lbs. I figured it would be an improvement over stock but not too light so that the revs don't drop as much between shifts and the car stays in boost better. What do you think?

Revs don't drop between shifts?

------... don't lift off the gas pedal when you shift. Women lift.

Haha i got ------ed. I don't really know about the shifts, I've just heard from other people that you don't want too light of a flywheel, especially w/boost so you stay in boost better. But do you really stay WOT while shifting? Don't you hit redline and hit the fuel cut off or is it fast enough that it doesnt have time? And does it eff up your clutch?

Gearbox rebuilds are cheap. They cost a lot less than races.

Some tuning programs offer a full throttle shift option. You just keep your foot to the floor and it drops the revlimiter to your preset so parts don't end up on the road behind your car.

I need a new clutch anyway so the tranny is coming down soon. It slips when I hit full boost in 4th and 5th gear right now and its getting a worse. I need a new tire now too because apparently I had a screw in my tire when I decided to launch from 4k, and now i have a fatty whole in my tire
