or just get a longer jack, the floor style ones with the long handle,

17.25 inches isn't bad for a small low-pro jack that you can block for additional height..

Here's one just like mine, except mine can lift more

It's perfect, I was so sick of using shitty jacks and jacks that came with cars all the time so I decided to get a nice one. It has a lot of aluminum in it so it's lighter than other jacks. Don't get me wrong it's still a heavy bitch, but you can at least pick it up and take it wherever you need.

yes. Search the internet. You can even get airbags to lift cars.

I have the standard Craftsman 3ton with stands. Wait til the "after thanksgiving day sale" and you can get it for like $75 or something.

Northern Hydrolic (don't know if they have them anywhere other than the Midwest) has a low profile aluminum jack and two stands for like 70 bucks. They hold up really nicely. I think you can buy them online from them too.

works fine on my truck. It is only a 2wd, so it sits lower that a 4x4. I would just need a wood block and I would be in business.
