fixed my water leak!!

Ok, I don't know if anyone remembers. But awhile back I said that I had a water leak that was puddling up behind my drivers seat only. Well I stripped that side of the interior (drivers seat, hatch release, seat belt, carpet and traced the leak. It was actually coming from the dead pedal area to the back then stopping when it hit that buldge in the body of the car. I looked up above the dead pedal, behind the fuse box, right beside where the hood release cable passes through the firewall and I see a black tube that was just dangling there. I reached up and turned it towards me to see in the end for wires or something. No wires, and whats that.. some water drips out. Its a drain tube!! plugged back in, doesn't snap in though, just sorta sits in there, and voila! I haven't actually tested that THAT was the problem, but im 99% sure it was. I guess I'll find out today (its supposed to rain this aft.).

Just thought I would let you guys know what was my problem abd maybe if you had the same you could fix it.

GREAT! i was running down a leak too... but i was a bit gung-ho to test it, and ran it through the car wash........... NOTHING.. WOOHOO!!! mine was under the passenger floor mat. it never got very wet, but one day i pulled out the floor mat (to check out my ecu) and it smelled like an UBER wet dog... BLAH! i shop vac'ed it out and used some deodorizer on it, and it's been good ever since. glad to hear you got yours fixed too.

no, i meant the water was under the passenger floor mat, it was comeing in from a hole plug that wasn't pushed in right in the fire wall.
