Time to move that fridge to the garage, build a monster kegerator, and buy a new one.

I don't see the problem here.

Ok make sure you dont have ---- packed up against where it draws in air in the freezer. You will freeze the evap. Then when it goes into defrost it will **** all over. Then check your drain from the evap pan. Make sure its clear and you can pour water down it and it gets all the way out. Its not magic, its a fridge.

our fridge used to do this, we took all the food out and unplugged it, let it sit for a good day or two with the doors open, one of the water drain lines is probably blocked by a chunk of ice, let the ice thaw, it will drain the water. Plug it back in and hopefully it works like new.

where is your light located and do you spend a lot of time 'looking' in the fridge or having the door open as you poor your frosty beverage or keep the door open as you load groceries?

if so, my guess is that your light and/or circuitry/wiring for your light is producing enough heat to melt the frost that has built up.

mine does the same thing from time to time
