why the hell would you wanna catch a carp?? I know you don't eat that ---- they're so damn nasty...they **** me off, ******* are as long as my leg and ---- and allll they do is swim by your bait, unless you're fishing with like crap or something...I know they have carp fishing tournaments up in South Carolina to see who can catch the biggest one and the most weight worth of fish...I don't care NOTHING about eating freshwater fish...I go fishing to catch that elusive 12-15 pound bass(can't believe nobody has mentioned bass fishing) that I can mount and hang on the wall...I caught ONE big enough one time and got him to the dock and when I pulled him up out of the water the knot in my line let go and he was gone, I could've cried, he looked to be around 13-15 pounds and his mouth was at least big enough for both my fists...have ALWAYS wanted to go deep sea fishing...

ive caught so many salmon is just plain ridiculous. when i was 6 years old i caught 6 fish over 30lbs in a week. fall chinook. not all the pictures are scanned but i have this one...

I'm a pretty hardcore sturgeon fisherman. Fish at Bonneville Damn here in Oregon. During sturgeon season, I organize my classes so I have time to go fishing. I wake up at 5AM toss my 15ft fishing pole in my car. Run out there (40 min dive) fish for 3-4 hours. Catch my fish and come home and go to class at 11

fishing story:
About 6-7 years ago. I was 13-14 years old. Dad had a custom fishing pole built for me. 15'6 graphite fishing pole. First day out with it. Early Febuary here in the Northwest, Cold as hell. Cast my bait out there. 5 minutes, into it, I see the tip of the rod move. So I set the hook. and played with the fish. Thought my fishing pole is pretty soft so the fish didnt feel that heavy. So kept on thinking it was a keeper. an hour and 45 min later. finally got the damn thing to shore. measured it. It was 98 inches.
My body ached for a good week after that.
