First time at the track in my turbo ef 4door

So I'm kinda dissapointed in my times last night. I ran a best of 14.2 at 96mph with a 2.5 60ft on 14in all season tires! Other than that it was awsome and i had a great time. Now all i need is to get some sticky tires.

My setup is
d16a6
garett 42/48 t3
xenocrom base tune
zif socket
3in dp
jgs 40mm wastegate(7.8lb spring)
dsm 450cc injectors
xtd stage 4 clutch and pressure plate
and a fmic (28x8x2 1/2 I think)

Not bad times for the 2.5 60ft. I take it its a wheel hop mo fo?

traction is the problem. It's spinning in 3rd

i heard xenocrom's basemaps were a CDM copy of Xenocron's. Gotta watch out. might be too much timing

Better to be spinning, than to be slipping...

I never said there were my boyzzzzzzz. but i'm verry happy with the xenocrom tune. And the car is aligned with skunk 2 upper control arms and adjustable rear camber arms. Thanks for the feedback though

So people you dont even considered friends made you make a thread about Xenocron's tuning abilities? Who are these people? Do they appear only to you?

anyone who complains about how well a basemap works on thier car is a ------ retard. its a basemap, its only meant so you can start your car and drive it to a tuner, not to make hundreds of horsepower.

Re: First time at the track in my turbo ef 4door

A good set of drag radials will help you alot. With a crappy 86 escort i was able to run a 13.66 @ 103 with 225/50/15 BF drag radials. I was running the one legger and full interior, a posi would of helped too.. Let me know how you do with more traction.

ThatsWhy i stopped selling chipped ecu's for turbo cars. Had a kid who I did a basemap for. He blew it on like 12 pounds. He said he was going to sue me since it was my fault. Oh and it was a blown headgasket. Best part he had the ecu over a year :1

lol i love people who act like its your fault. i swear nowadays you have to be VERY specific that you arent liable for any damaged cause because these kids think thier idiocy is you fault. you just have to tell them what the deal is and they change thier tune.

I did and he was happy and even bought more parts from me after his car ran so great on the basemap. He must be birdley's family cause they bitched about nothing the same way.

Like most kids proably lost his job at Pizza Hut and started the threating emails in the attempt for someone to ive him his money back

I told him I would buy back the ecu for 75 bucks ;D

That's because you don't know how to take your car in for a ------- alignment, asstard. You can hook everything a .42/.48 has (~250-275) in second gear on street tires.

You are the third person I've heard bitch about that kid. Shame, really, he seemed like a decent guy from his posts. :3

Spinning third and not even trapping 100???

Either youre full of ---- on spinning third or youre running 50 psi in the front tires, rolling through the waterbox, no doing a burn out, and your track sucks... All at the same time.

Im running some weak ass 195/60/14 all seasons that are almost bald, 217 whp (yes, theyre altitude corrected, so not even that much power)in my eD, and im hitting 1.98-2.00 60', grabbing second, and trapping 102... Oh, and 13.6 e/t's....

at 5800 ft!!! LOL. ------ Colorado.

Not surprised to hear it. Twenty year old rotted wiring make every vehicle unique, not that "identical setups" aren't pretty different even when the vehicles are new. I see a lot of cars that don't run correctly, or sometimes at all, off of another car's tune w/ "identical setup" - and that's just idle and part throttle cruise.

I swear to god if I ever get suckered into sending another basemap to anyone I'll set boost cut at -6 in/Hg to make sure they can't ------- beat on it, and they seek out a goddamn tune. Assclowns. :3

1. the track does suck.
2. the car is aligned.
3. i was running 20lbs of pressure in the front tires (195/60/14's all seasons as well)
4. I don't know why i was not trapping higher.
I'm only on 7.8lbs of boost. And the spinning makes a big diff. depending on your clutch(mine is a 6 puck unsprung stage 4 std)
BTW My new best is a 13.9 at 98mph with a 2.2 60ft
here is a pic of the car

here is the only vid i have uploaded. (i don't have the cable to transfer data off the cam corder)(I still only have a best vid of the 14.1)

Yet you spin in 3rd?

Take your ------- car somewhere other than a chain franchise that specialises in setting your toe and letting you go. ::)

What the ---- does that have to do with a turbo drag car being correctly aligned?
