First Time at Track, Finally got times, Slightly Disappointed

Today at a car show I was able to run my car in bracket competetion. My setup is as listed in the signature. Car had full interior, running 8psi, Falken Azenies(24psi), and a 2-step set at 3500rpm. The reason my 2-step is set so low is because it is setup for the street. The 2-step is on all the time and I cant change it because I lost my tuning equipment to hurricane katrina. :(

The reason I am not completely disappointed with my times is because I know I can get a bit faster by adjusting my 2-step for track use and this was just my first time at the track. I was also happy that my reaction times were consistent in the .5xx range, but we were using the .000 system :(.

I have a vid, but it is complete crap. My friend < Canon SD300

Enough of the jibber jaber, now you guys can make fun. [b}NOTE:[/b] I know I didnt make 250whp so please dont post about it. :)

the .000 system is the same as the .5 system the numbers just diffrent, so on the .5 second you were "thizzin" .9's. why did you dial a 14.20 did you not get timed runs before you went out? oh well, you'll get better with some practice

Not bad. Yes, I think you can get that alot lower. My FTL is like 4500ish and I only practiced a few times on the street and it feels money and the track is 10 times grippier. How much lower do you think you can get your times? Nice job by the way. Reppin' the EJ8 crew. ;) ;D

Thanks for informing me. If I would have known I would have tried to leave a bit earlier... .9's suck :(

I dialed 14.20 cuz i just didnt wanna break out and none of my "practice" runs were consistent(gettin use to the track).
