well, i got out of work early yesterday, and was heading to get my car wieghed at the station. there was a side street to my left and i saw a 2002 Mustang GT SVT waiting for traffic to clear. as i passed him i waved him on (like the ROCK'S; "Bring It") as i looked in my rear view i saw him bust it sideways on to the road i was on and he quickly came up on me, and i thought AWWWW ----!!! so we stop at the light and i asked him if he "wanted to run", and he quickly replied "yup"! so i said "follow me" to a street that i knew was hardly used and you could see any oncomming cars forever. so i was in the right lane and he was in the left... i told him to say go, allready having my launch control pegged @3800. he said "go" and as soon as he did, i had 1/2 car length on him.... by the end of the race we were doing 105mph and i was ahead by 3-4 car lengths. he knew there was no way he was able to catch up, so he got into the right lane behind me. i threw my hand out the window and screamed like a little girl "WOOHOO". so i waved him over onto a side street and he had a dumbfounded look on his face. i said "Ohh yea, I'm turbocharged" with a smirk. and he replied "No ----" he said he has taken his car to the track and ran 13.8 and i invited him out next weekend when a bunch of my friends are going.

i honestly thought i was gonna get my *** handed to me, but it was the other way around

i was only pushing 10 psi, on TE in a stripped CRX.
Can you imagine the "Mind--------" i gave to that guy?

he beat a GT mustang, not a 03+ SVT mustang...

good kill on a GT. 03+ SVT's run mid 12s... GTs run about 14 flat... unless it was an older SVT which is NA and they run about 13.5-14.0ish

yeah, people say a stock XXX car can run XXX in a 1/4. a guy down here at our track couldnt drive for ----, was running a '00 ZO6 vette in 15.5-15.7 sec 1/4 mile.
all the imports were tryin to "pink slip it" that night.

so i say it could be true. just because motor trend, or the factory says it can go that fast doesnt always mean the person driving the car can do that.
