first 1/4 in my teg.
well last night 6/6/03 10:17pm i went to moroso.

I think i could of done much better. i think my problem was that i couldn't take off right. i kept pealing out like CRAZY. I was running with 14/185 tires. people where telling me that i should run with 15/205 tires and might get my 1/4 to a low 15. the track feels much, much harder to take off.
One thing i don't understand is on the street i can beat a stock gsr. and there running low 15's.

I beat a GSR once. Yeah, it was cool. My downpipe was a ghetto record breaker, couldn't push a ping pong ball through it, but I raced anyway and I ended up getting airborne at about 115 cuz the dude wouldn't let off and I wasn't gonna let him go by. Damn, damn ego...

Street racing can be way different too as you said...you rarely race a complete 1/4 mile, no matter how long the track is. It has a lot to do with nerves I think, lol, and whether a cop is sitting around the corner....at the track you just ------- keep going.....

Your absolutely right about that. when your at the track you just think about not ------- up, and that was one of my other problems. but still i think the track is deffinitly slippery when you have cheap tires.
