If the head gasket is not set correctly/ smushed weird than more torquing isn't going to help.

Get some copper wire. Ring that bitch.

85? really? sounds like kind of alot of torque. is that a common torque for them?

yeah if i can get a decent price for some sleeves i might sleeve and ring that A6 block i have.

It is, going beyond the spec for the bolt is going to suck once thermal expansion happens.

Not to mention you have the possibility of warping the head if they don't budge.

well any other suggestions for keeping the head from lifting then? i know ive heard of d series with much more power than this.

how much did that garrett cost you? i have a ching chong turbo and it only made 240 Hp with 17 psi. meh, i guess you get what you pay for.

Ring the block, if you're still pushing coolant somethings up with the gasket.
