Re: Finally boosted :)
so did you try and run the bottom wastegate port to the compressor? you should never run the wastegate to another source unless your running a boost controller so take that ---- of the vacuum manifold and stick it onto the compressor

Re: Finally boosted :)
well you cant boost on a stock fuel system period. its called limp mode. duh. put your management system in

Oh, to the thread starter... did you make sure your vacuum mani is hooked up correctly, and to a strong vacuum source? If it worked when hooked up to your compressor but not when hooked up to the vacuum mani, maybe there is something wrong with the mani?
Which one do you have? You drilled out the ports right?

When you get some fuel management come back and ask questions if it doesn't run right. This is ------- stupid.

Re: Finally boosted :)
amazing everyones flameing this guy for fuel management and hes going to have it sooner or later. maybe he only wants to run 2-3 psi to see if hes got it working right. like any of you have never tottaly finished a project and wanted to check it out somewhat. Run the line to a diffrent source other than your manifold. use the compressor housing if it has a source. check the spring look at the waste gate to make sure all the bolts are tightend down and ----. maybe the springs tighend down to hard and its causing the wastegate to open before 1 psi of boost. make somthing to test it with a bycycle pump if you have to or test it with an aircompressor if you have one while its off. good luck

Re: Finally boosted :)
hes going to be fine on 2-3 psi.... thats not even realy equivlent to the presure of an elevation change as saying driving up in the mountians or driving down to death valley. the cars map sensor will take care of that. ---- not even equivlent to the dry shots of nitrous people run. he'll be fine sissy
