"All" cars 1985 and newer were "required" to upgrade their fuel systems to they did not rust out as much, and use different rubber compounds and such that don't fail with contact to ethenol. Almost all fuel has 10% ethenol anyway, thats why the ruling was put into effect.

And yes, I tuned the wagon to run on it.

Henry Ford said ethyl alcohol was the fuel of the future in 1925. Of course the oil companies helped support the prohibition (banning alcohol) which was one major reason why he ended up using gasoline in his cars instead.... Now after billions of dollars wasted, over 70yrs, and several wars later we get the point... >:( I'm filling up on that ---- asap
