Well, I know I had to go to 6 ------' gas stations yesterday evening before I FINALLY found one that had 93. I BELIEVE I paid a lil over $4 for a gallon. ---- is getting kinda annoying. I've had to search for premium the last 4 or 5 times I've went to get gas.

The reasoning behind this is because the apex seals get no lubrication from the internal oil delivery system, it has to be directly injected into the combustion chamber to lubricate the apex seals and side seals and whatnot. this also ups the compression ratio and whatnot.

the problem with this is Mazda went from a mechanical unit in through to 88 to an electrical ecu controlled unit in 89. this has posed major problems since then, and most people often discard it in favor of just running 10oz or 1 oz per gallon. it runs just fine.

there are also mechanisms which go in between the oil metering pump and it draws oil not from the engine oil, but a separate container. i plan on getting one of these *******.
