Few pics of my New Wheels..
 

Well, I had to get some new tires today, and I figured if I would be buying new tires, I should get some new rims at the same time, I got these from Vince (pagong) at a sweet price :) Thanks

The tires are 205/50/15's Kumho ESCTA Supra 712 Pretty nice, they were 70 bucks a piece.

The Rims are ROTA Group N Black w/ Red Lip (12 lbs)

Car is on some Cheapy 2.5 dropped Ebay Springs, The front is dropped a bit lower since the engine is heavier with the ls/vtec.

Crx's have a high ride height, so thats why it looks like it has bearly been dropped, I am going to cut 1 coil in the rear to even them out.

The exhaust is a custom 3in DP back, 36in res, to a Apexi N1 muFF.

Ya, we are located in Wash..

No rubbing from the body of the car... Just me rubbing them off because I like them so much, HA! ;)

---- I use to have 18's 215/35/18 and they hardly rubbed. Crx's have like a damn factory lift.

Hey Abaz what type of exhaust is that... Tanabe...HKS...Apexi ? I never seen it before. I mean I've seen that style muffler but but look like it's a complete cat. back like the Tanabe and HKS. OR is it a universal muffler with custom piping ? IF so thats some damn good welding job you did. Also what type of FMIC is that. Sweet pic.'s though. I just painted my rims black last month they look sweet.

holy ----.... 36in resonator... damn thats huge... is it 3in in diameter??? cause the only largest one i found was a comptech 18in 2.5in one..

It sounds good only FI, otherwise its to ricey.. and without the resonator it kinda sounds ricey too. So definatly need to be FI & have the big resonator in order for it to sound good.

ok, dont cut, leave them how they are.. you will get really bad bouncing because you will shorten spring travel. also, what shocks/struts are u using?

I have a Saber Performance muffler w/ custom SS 2.25in piping from cat back. sounds pretty darn good if u ask me.. i'll do a sound recording in the summer.

Trust me, I have cut so many springs on my cars, with tons of different crx's. People get this idea if you cut springs it makes the car bouncy, well ---- yes it will if, you cut the things in half, and your riding on the bump stops, you have to be smart about it. I only cut a coil off, and the bump stops are already cut in half. The strut still has plenty of travel. I think I'm going to cut another 1/2 coil off to get my desired ride height.

True its better to cut stock springs rather than ones that have already been dropped, since the spring rate will incredibly change. But its ok for now...

LORD, a 3" exhaust... Jeff, that's making me Jelous. I've got a spot in my exhaust that's got a 2" section of pipe :( I'm replacing it soon with a 2.5" to the back.

Ok, I dont know if it was mountainman mufflers, I will do a check later..

How much did it cost? everything. was around 400ish

Muffler alone was 200, and then the piping and res as another 200.

Around $225-250 not including rental welder for 3" DP all the way out. About $80 of that was for two 24"ish straight through resonators, no muffler. Used 5 or so 180 mandrels from JCwhitney. Took my brother all day to make it 8). Welds are as pretty as a rental gets, but used all stock hangers, and goes over the R/R control arm. Makes cool noises.

Jeff, yours looks stainless? You used stainless all the way or just the ass end? Where did you score the mandrels?

Neither of use made that exhaust section, the same guy that did my exhaust manifold on the race car did this..

the rear section is stainless...

Jeff, I just wanted to make sure that after all these people are done, there will still be some ass for me to kiss. ;) I like it, but if you had limo tint that would be more "stealthy" :)
