Fender replacement?
I've never taken a fender off before so I really don't know what to expect. I am gonna fix my friend's front left fender on her Chevy Prism because she hit a house . The headlight and everything is fine, just the fender is fux0red so I should just be able to remove/replace it. My question is, what is this gonna involve? Just a few bolts? Hopefully no cutting any metal? Approximately how many bolts/any hard to find hidden ones that are gonna **** me off? I know that maybe none of you have done this on a prism before but I would assume the procedure is similar to a honda.

Re:Fender replacement?
just bolts under the hood along the side of the engine bay, on the door side of the fender, you have to open the door to get to them, and maybe one or two on the bottom, but yeah, just a bunch of bolts. they're cake to replace, but don't tighten any of the bolts down all the way at first, put them all in loosely so you have a little play to move it around a little if need be to get teh best alignment, then tighten em all down and get some head in the whip.

ya make sure that you keep a good little distance between the fender and the door, becasue when you shut or open the door, it may crush the new fender. if its a oem fender than it should be good, but non oem parts can be a bitch.

Ah, who am I to talk ----, I hit a house once.
There is a guy on Egay that sells fenders and they can even color match them with the factory color before they ship it so you don't have to go get it painted. Not sure if they sell them for Gizms, but you could ask and see if they can get them.
