Fellow computer nerds, I need help (networking)
Just installed your basic wireless system in my house, coax-->modem-->wireless router--> computer, then i have a wireless card in my laptop. Everything installation wise went okay, seemed okay but it picks up the connection, says its perfect, then it drops and repeats. Whats the problem?

do you have a cordless phone in the house? perhaps a 2.4Mhz phone, same as the router? or maybe a neighbor does.....change the channel you are using in the router, may fix your problem. i had to experiment, channel 9 ended up working best for me ;)

well it just mysteriously started working after I must have rebooted/pulled out the card 5x or so. but thanks for the help, i actually do have a 2.4Mhz phone so i'll look into that if I have any more problems.
