As more and more members are screwing people over I thought this would be a good idea. It would be nice to see a format like this other than look at my vouches.

Hell I buy and sell all the time and sometimes the noobs have the best deals.

 

honda scene has more scammers than anywhere else.

 

shroomery has that same system, but it doesn't really prove much. It'd be easy for people to just give trade feedback without actually trading, and thus have positive ratings.

 

I guess that is true. If I remember correctly I thought there was a member or two that added BS vouches to their sig.

Nope, leaving feedback you just click the users name and go to "leave rating" then choose whether it's a general or trade rating, then how many stars (or on shroomery, shrooms), and leave a comment. I could easily give people trade ratings that I've never even spoke to. It's not linked to anything in the forum, that would be too difficult to code.

Anyway, it'd be better than nothing, but it would be a serious pain in the *** to redo these forums, not to mention the whole forum would most likely have to be started over from scratch (or spend a shitton of time writing scripts to change this database to the other forum's format) since they're two completely different forums.

 

^ And even then you never know... I did a deal with a guy on here that went smooth as silk, but the second time I tried to deal with him he scammed me as well as others on this site... just gotta be careful.

 

A couple forums Im on have a rating system where after a transaction you olace a link to the thread from which you purchased items and then leave feedback as to how it went etc.I think it is a good idea as some people are shitty to deal with they may not scam you but will take forever to ship etc.
