My local fedex throws those boxes away in the dumpster Im always box hunting there. Damn your shipping is setup for the turck to flip and the part still get there.


Havent had a problem yet with my technique. The plastic from the furnaiture store makes life so much easier.

ive had ups lose a package on me and they cracked the ---- out of a valve cover i shipped that was packed like ------- mad. i dont know how it was even possible unless it fell off the truck at highway speed and got ran over. needless to say they gave me the ------- run around for weeks and never let me file a claim on either package. i wouldnt use UPS if it was the last company on earth. i use DHL 90% of the time with USPS being the other 10% for lighter things or stuff i need to send priority mail. never once had a problem with either one.

So it took them 4 days to make a hour and a half trip. They then couldn't read the label so replaced it? WTF, if you can't read it how do you know what to replace it with? That thing was boxed up NICE and used almost a whole role of packing taped with 2 layers completely covering the shipping label (still perfectly clear).

Yeah I saw that, it makes the shippement go from 22 to 27
Now I hate fedex.

When I dropped a tranny off at Kinko's about a year ago, the manager decided to be a dick and "question" my packing since I insure for $1000, which it what the tranny is worth after OBX install.

So I pushed the box off the counter onto the floor. Noting the corner was barely dented, he said nevermind

What a dick. I had a lame fedex dude for awhile but I havent seen him in forever. Cool old dude handles all the shipping at my fedex now.
