Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
---- looks slow as hell. Tell him to sell it to me ;D
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
What happened to the hood?
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
after having his alternator fry, and his upper rad hose catch on fire, he had to figure out a way to get rid of some heat.
so he did. there are some videos of him running a 12.xxsec 1/4 mile, I'll see what I can dig up. apparently he has no traction until the top of 4th, or something stupid like that |

quote directly from the man.
"June 24th installed the t67 and driving home on the highway met up with a 2004 corvette zo6 and well he had no chance lets say. Running 7 psi with pump gas the car ran awsome. June 25th Raced at Mission Raceway tonight and managed to pull off a 12.3 @113mph with a 1.9 60 ft. while runnig race fuel and 12 psi on a STOCK H22 BLOCK still and some 22" slicks." http://members.shaw.ca/tsi-awd/Mission_2004-06-25/ |

I wish we had more ---- like this on HMT. I love manifold designs and thats definitely a cool one |
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
not bad for his first real manifold. this guy builds wild stuff all of the time. he threw a b series into an older geo metro as his first car.
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
That car is beautiful! :'(

Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
i believe it... last summer... lapeer dragway, 2 Z06's, best run of the 2 was a 12.4 on drag radials. the younger kid was granny shifting and i had to explain about powershifting.... after my crash-course on shifting, he dropped 1/2 a sec.
but what i will tell ya, is that those TQ #'s are impressive as hell! |
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
WTF?!?
MY $2 spacer deal would have helped the heat escape without ruining a cf hood. |
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
that hood looks horrible, what are ya blind.. the bodylines dont match up at all..
i would rather have a big obnoxious hole in my cf hood... ::) jp |
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
he already has spaced his hood out, look closely on the last picture.
and his manifold actually started to burn/melt his cf hood. |
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
i like the manifold design, thats cool shiz.
113 seems like a really low trap for a low 12. especially if you say he gets no traction until the top of 4th. I can't imagine him getting out of the hole fast enough to pull off a low 12 on 113mph. |

spaced right and the cutting of the web should have done it. oh well, shoulda, coulda, woulda. don't matter. |
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
----, thats a cool mani.
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
I did the same spacer ---- that mike did, mine's not as drastic though. I can't say whether or not it helped, but ---- I did it.

Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
I don't get it, a 2.2L vtec engine pushing a t67 turbo, and he's only getting 270 hp? Something doesn't seem right here.
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
i love that manifold

Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
the dyno numbers are with the turbo he had prior to the t67.
"Now for all who had to talk about what they dont know heres a tip, Yes the car has lag and no it doesnt take a long time to spool, It comes on hard around 4500 to 5000 rpm." |
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
I've seen the car in person.. beautiful setup
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
I saw this thing at the track. He was always running street tires :-\ Still a cool car.

Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
cool setep but it must be shitty having so much rain in BC
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
That DA looks clean as hell with a wild setup. The hole in the hood isn't so hot, but if he needs it there...
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
I spy a two step boost controller :)
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
I saw that one on G2IC before, but I could have sworn it was black?? either way...that thing is NICE!!!
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
he went from a dark silver/gray to this, some sort of m3 blue I think.
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
That's a nice exhaust manifold. Instead of copying that "ram-horn" crap, copy this guy.

Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
forgot to mention/confirm that this is his daily driver.
I've even spotted him hauling his laundry around in it. |
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
warrick, is that tommys car?
damn, new paint looks sick. was there in june for the 12.xx pass. He raced against my buddy is his now sold SR20 powered 240sx. it was wild to see that DA coming online midtrack and assaulting the 240. |
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
yeah, that's tommy.
he came over to the island for a show, and nobody understood how insane his car was/is. if you know him, dave from garage5 (had/has a wild 180, it was used as a car on some show called strangeville, I think) won most wild out of the show. I remember following him in my friend's car, and watched him take off down the highway. insane acceleration once he's at speed. |

Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
Setup looks good but he should of got one of those "lancer" style carbon fiber hoods :-\
|
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
I think he should put some type of scope o something on there.
Still a nice car ;) Does he switch hoods or does he drive around wiht that big ass hole all the time |
Re:feast your eyes on this shizzle dizzle
he was going to get a reversed scoop to vent out the back, but he hasn't bothered so far.
yes he drives around like that daily. |
