Shoot maness it's all on buyserz really. I means i;ve shipped stuffs with some tshitty asss packaging and it didn;t arrive, damaged. But eithere wasy if someone buys a producst then it's not eherir responsiblitly to get ehtenre samfe itss teh sellers. WHen sscooty was sending a s ipods her shipped sanother wuick win it didn't arrive, it cost ebwse e extras buyst till didnd it lol soctyss a cool ciugy though

I bought a 70 dollar window off line from a junk yard once. They packaged it well and everything, the package was insured, it said "FRAGILE, GLASS" all over it and when the package got here it was nothing bit bits of broken tempered glass. UPS basically told me to go ---- myself when I claimed on it. :8

I had an alternator thrown into a box of packing peanuts, because the seller was mad that it sold for $5 on ebay... worked great after I got all that ---- out though :6

I shipped a window from Pennsylvania to Montana and it somehow made the whole treck. Shipped a door to the kid too (window/door from crx). Biggest pain ever, but I think the way you package it goes a long way.

20 years working in warehousing, I know how boxes get crushed and handled.

Wadded up newspaper works great, just stuff the box tightly. no loose stuff.

I had a tranny dropped off last Friday, you think packing peanuts is bad........I had to vacuum the tranny before splitting it open....

Protip: stuff orifices like axle holes with newspaper so packing material doesn't get inside.

I think the details need to be thought out and worked BEFOREHAND.

If the customer wants insurance, he must ask for it...and be prepared to pay for it. The seller is not required to ship with insurance.

The seller also needs to pack things well, but the customer must realize that there is NO POSSIBLE WAY a seller can guess how that package is going to be treated on its way to the customer. Extra care takes time, time costs money...as a seller, if you know you will need to pack the item better, build that into the price or come up with a legitimate figure for handling and charge accordingly. Good boxes cost money, packing peanuts and bubble wrap cost money, tape and tape guns cost money...and then of course there is the cost for shipping.

All shippers suck, and they can always blame the shipper if they want.

Life is full of variables...you cant account for all of them.
