I received a header the other day. Very fast shipping, so I won't complain, however he threw the pieces in a box full of styrofoam and peanuts, and I got to spend 20-30 minutes trying to get all the shards of styrofoam out. I know it's not really a big deal, but it isn't a big deal to throw the stuff in a garbage bag before dropping it in peanuts either.

i got a intercooler packed in peanuts.. getting the ---- out was a bitch :X

Yeah, fortunately the chinese that made mine were kind enough to put rubber caps on the end.

The LSD clutch I got was packaged in peanuts, but I'll let it slide since he's cool O0

you modified quote was worthy... that was comical for me...

insurance is the responsibility of the buyer... shippers aren't obligated to ship with insurance... I can pretty much guarantee that most you fucks wont dish out the extra few bucks for usps insurance...

however it is the responsibility of the shipper to package everything correctly to avoid damage...

this is an interesting case... maybe a partial refund? not enough to buy another cam, but just to offset the cost of another cam?

Thanks working in warehouses has a teenager and being a soda vendor after taught me to overkill packing. Unless the box has been trashed your not getting insurance money

Newspaper is free and does the job. For plastic go to your local mattress store and dig through their dumpsters you will find heavy duty plastic and its FREE. That stuff is so damn tuff it does have to make it all the way from China.

Contact the member and see if he can replace the damaged part and you can offer to pay for the shipping.

I'm fairly certain the member in question knew about the thread before Josh made it, and we are a yardstick by which a fair settlement is reached.

Which is why nude pics of the seller's mother are ------- mandatory or the banhammer will fall. :7

He's cool :P

Like I said, it was obvious he spent time making sure ---- wouldn't break, but it's also obvious that usps/fedex/ups don't give a ---- about what they're shipping. Somehow the cam made it out , and after being thrown around a few times chipped off.

He quickly responded and it's getting settled, just as I figured it would. He's doing what you said civicsi. He offered to send another pair if I paid shipping, but I'm just going to ask for the broken one to be replaced.

I should have titled this, "can this be fixed," because that's mostly what I was curious about.
